I enjoy that back and forth, too, it's always fun and leads down some interesting pathways, and there's nothing like a good conversation. For some reason, though, trying to express myself about the topic at hand and not have it be unclear or go all wrong (at least yesterday, and in a public post) became a bigger obstacle than I could cross. :) I was rather tired (from a long weekend of dancing and singing and not sleeping, speaking of pleasure) yesterday, and perhaps that was why I didn’t feel up to posting the comment. And then we could have had some rousing back and forth on the subject, which I always enjoy. You do have this tendency to write posts that provoke this reaction--not that I'm complaining, mind you! So, I'll save my thoughts, but the essence of the comment is that there's some other ways to look at hedonism and neo-Pagan philosophies that go deeper into the spiritual realm, and that I think you would find interesting.
